Sitting for the Exam

On the day of the examination, arrive at the testing center before the reporting time listed on the admission ticket. Remember to bring the following items: your admission ticket, several sharpened #2 pencils, and proper identification (one piece of identification with a recent photograph and one additional piece). If you are taking the Blind and Visually Impaired test, bring a Braillewriter. If you are taking the Mathematics test, bring a graphing calculator. For some of the other math and science tests, you may bring one of the approved scientific calculators. Otherwise, a scientific calculator will be issued to you at the test site.

While you are in the testing center, you may not smoke or contact anyone outside the center. Cell phones, handwritten or printed materials, electronics, food and drink, rulers, and highlighters are prohibited in the testing center, but you may bring a transparent bottle of water. You will be allowed to go to the restroom during the exam, but any time spent in the restroom will not be added back to the time allowed. There will be short breaks between the sections of the exam.
