NYSTCE Agriculture

The NYSTCE Agriculture test measures your knowledge according to the New York State Academic Standards. Success on this test indicates that you are qualified to teach curriculum related to agriculture in the New York State public school system. The test content is drawn from these subareas: Agricultural Education and Career Development (12% of the exam); Plant Science (20%); Animal Science (13%); Agricultural Business Management, Economics, and Marketing (13%); Agricultural Mechanics and Technology (16%); Agriculture and the Environment (16%); and an Agricultural Education and Career Development constructed-response question (10%). The test consists of approximately 90 multiple-choice questions and one constructed-response question.
